Hello!

My name is Elliot and I am 10 yrs old.

I live on a ship called the Africa Mercy in an organization called Mercy Ships.

We are at Applesbosch in South Africa. We always have fun wherever we are on the ship. I enjoy everything we do. The ship is a hospital ship and it helps the poor and needy. My parents are Tony and Patricia. We are Christians. I like playing football (soccer to you Americans). I will be sailing to Cape Town and then onto Sierra Leone.

Hello my name is Elijah I am ten years old I am in fourth grade. I have two brothers, and a sister. We live on the Africa Mercy. The Africa Mercy is part of Mercy Ships.The Arica Mercy has about four hundred people living on it. Africa Mercy is a hospital ship in West Africa. Right now the ship is being worked on in South Africa. All the Families have to go to apple bosh an old college.                   

My Life

Hi! My name is Anna! I live on a ship called the Africa Mercy. It’s a hospital ship. It goes to West Africa. I have a mum, dad, brother and sister. My mums name is Sally my dads name is Olly my brother’s name is Noah and my sisters name is Libby. Libby was adopted in Liberia. I am 9 years old. I am in 4^th grade. I was born in England, but, as you know I live in West Africa. I have two best friends on the ship are Fride and Deborah. I have four other classmates. Elijah, Rick, Elliot and Fride. My teachers name is Miss Danae. She is a great teacher.

            We are currently living in Applesbocsh. It is sometimes great, but, sometimes bad.

            Well that’s all I have to say right now.

            I am Rick. I am with an organization called Mercy Ships with my family. I am in 4^th grade. The Africa Mercy is in the shipyard right now so I am staying in South Africa  [Appelsbosh]. I am 9 years old. My classmates are Fride, Anna, Elijah and Elliot. My father is from Sri Lanka and my mother is from Holland. I was born in England. My life is different than most others but  I love my life so far. My teacher is called Miss Danae. She is a great teacher to me. My 6 year old brother is called Andre, he is a good brother. The ship is cool! South Africa is great. Have a nice day.

            Hello, my name is Fride! I’m from Norway but now I live with my family on board a ship called the Africa Mercy. I’m nine years old. I live with my brother, Bendik, my sister, Linde, my mom, Jorid and my dad, Dag. I’m in fourth grade and we live in South Africa right now. I have a few friends on the ship Deborah and Anna. A lot of my friends come, stay here for a wile and then leave. My life is different then a lot of other kids but I think its okay, I like it though, it’s nice here. My classmate’s names are Eli, Rick, Elliot, Anna, Fride that’s me and my teacher Miss Danae. Right now we are in Applesposh, it’s amazing here but there are snakes. Applesbosch has blocks where people live. It also has a place outside that we can play in that is called the “ampetheater.”It has a dining room and school. Applesbosch is in South Africa.

Have you ever crossed the equator? Most all the kids on the ship have crossed the equator. We will soon cross the equator for the second time! Now we are “shellbacks”. Shellbacks are people who have crossed the equator on a ship or boat. I don’t really have much more to say, well have a nice day.
