A DAY IN THE LIFE OF THEO.S

Every morning I wake up in my warm comfy warm bed, and I go eat breakfast. My parents are already there and they eat without me. Then I sit on the couch and read my kindle. I usually lose track of time, and it makes me be late. Then I walk to school, and my teacher welcomes me in the class and we do devotions. Then we go to break after all of our other classes.
At lunch break I go to my cabin and eat with my family. I am usually the first one there, so I start eating. When I go back to school I am late again even though I run.
After school I do my homework. Sometimes it takes me a long time, sometimes it doesn’t. Then I go to dinner and its African food on Tuesday, which isn't my favorite! I like it when they have pizza.

After dinner I go to my cabin and play video games. After a while I go to sleep on my own.
THE END!!!!!

When I walk to school I only walk 40 steps.

Me doing social studies.

At break time I go on the swings or play soccer.

At lunch I go home to my cabin.

Math class is long and boring.

A Day on the Ship

Early in the morning in my small cabin,
I wake up at 6:00. When I’m finished brushing my teeth I
Change my cloth and my mom brings food
From the Dining room. After breakfast I pack up my backpack and
                   To school.

When we go to school on the ship it’s a very short walk so you don’t
Have to take a school bus. When we go in the big room we usually start
With devotions then go to our classrooms and read.

At the end of school we write in our planner what we have for home work
And walk back in to our cabin. After that we eat dinner and when
I’m finished I play video games.

A day On the ship

A Day On The
   Ship
First I wake up at around 7:20 AM. I fell very tired and lazy and I want to go to sleep for five hours before I wake up again. Then I get up and see more than a thousand massive metal containers out my window as I walk out to my living room to get breakfast. Breakfast is very refreshing and tastes sooo good and I don’t really feel tired anymore. Then I get dressed very quickly feeling very nervous and rushed as my mom says “You have nine more minuets! “ As soon as I am finished I race to school. After four class periods school is out for lunch break from 12:00 to 12:55 PM. I walk down to the dinning room and I wait in the long line. I impatiently wait in the line eager to get the food at the end of the line. In the end I always get the delicious food and sit down with my family in the loud warm dinning room. At 12:50 PM I go back to school. I walk to school and wait outside the door in the hallway. When they open the doors I go in to my classroom and get ready for the next class. I usually have a ton of fun! After school I do my homework and on Mondays, Thursdays, and Wednesdays I do chores. Mondays and Thursdays I vacuum, and on Wednesdays I help with laundry where my mom signs out four laundry slots in a huge laundry room with ten washers and dryers, a big table to fold, and an assorted number of ironing boards. After homework I get ready for dinner at 5:00 PM. Then we go down to the dinning room and eat dinner. It is very refreshing after a long day and sometimes I eat and talk with friends. After dinner I usually go on the playground. I am very energetic and ready to play and explore. It is usually warm and smells like dried grass that was baked in the sun. And sometimes I find moths or other types of bugs. I usually feel imaginative and eager to play the millions of adventures all crammed into my mind. Then it is time to go to sleep. I lay down in my soft small bed in my tiny room that I share with my sister. It is usually hard to go to sleep but then after a while my eyes slowly get tired of being open and then my eyes close and I fall into a deep sleep. That is what a day on the ship is like for me .

A day in my life

On the ship I call home I wake up and hear the buzzing of the fan and the air vents. It is cold because the fan has been on all night. I have to share a room with my younger brother. While I get up I see the sea filled with garbage as normal.
I eat breakfast in my cabin because my dad brings it up from the dinning room. Then after breakfast (toast) I pack my bag and walk to school. On the way to school I see the decks and the walls which is super boring to see every day.

At school I learn and I walk back to my cabin to eat. After lunch I walk back to school where my six classmates and I learn some more. After school I walk back to my cabin where I do my homework. After I have done my homework I play wii until dinner. At dinner I grab my food out of the trays with the tongs now that I am ten and the ships rules allow me to serve my self because I am ten. I choose a table to sit at and wait for my family to come so then we pray and I can start eating not good but good enough food to eat.
After dinner I put my plate on the racks for the dinning room to clean and after I have done that I go to deck eight to play. At bedtime I go down stairs to my cabin and take a shower, brush my teeth and tuck into my bed and try to sleep (I sleep on the top bunk witch I find better because I am higher than everyone).

MY DAY

a day in my life on the AFM

When I wake up in my small coldish   bedroom on the AFM I usually felt like we are rocking, I hear generators I then look down and see my sisters blanket s on the floor. Then I go to the living room and eat breakfast that my dad brings up from the dinning room. Some times its pancakes or cinnamon rolls, but usually I have cereal.   My living room smells like apples because we have a “candle”, we have a fake one because w e aren’t allowed to use real ones. After that I get ready for school, when I am ready I just walk down a deck and sometimes go to devotions. Next I go to my   4th and 5th grade classroom, I am in 4th grade. I only have 6 other people in my class and that’s the biggest in Elementary, all together with all the elementary its 16!! Then I go to break, at break I usually do jump rope but there are also two swings and soccer. After school I do home work or after school activities like recorder and hand bells, also piano. Then I go to dinner, while a wait I a longish line I   hear a person or two talking to some one in their language to another person.  After I get my dinner I go and sit down and if it is someone’s birth day they ring the bell and we sing, at the end we hit the table. Then I go home or go to deck 8 or just play. Then after a long and exiting day I go to bed ready for the next day.

A Day in My Life

I wake up in my comfy bed in my small room that I share with my big sister. At breakfast I eat in the cabin usually cereal occasionally oatmeal or pancakes. I walk twenty steps with my brother to school. I am in fifth grade there is sixteen kids in the elementary and seven in my class. In our classroom you can hear the air conditioning and some times the ice machine. Our school is small and fun. There is no cafeteria so at lunch we walk back to the cabin and my parents get food from the dining room then they bring it to the cabin. We usually have grilled cheese sandwiches. After lunch I take out the trash I go from near the back of the ship to near the front then I go down the gangway then back to the back of the ship but on the dock I throw out the trash and go back to the cabin. Then I go back to school. When I come home I do my homework. Then I eat dinner in the dining room it is crowded. After dinner I play then I read. Finley I go to bed and that is the end of my day.

A Day in the Life

Every morning when I wake up I’m on a ship and I’m in a small room in a small bed. I have to force myself to get out of my warm bed into my cold cabin. I take a few steps into my living room and sometimes smell something good like cinnamon buns or pancakes, but usually just cereal or toast. The food for breakfast can taste good but usually not. I walk up one flight of stairs to school.
My school only has 16 elementary kids. Some of the kids have been in school on the ship with me forever. When I’m in school or anywhere else on the ship I can hear overhead announcements, pagers going of and lots of screaming kids around me. I go to my cabin to have lunch with my family. I’m usually excited to eat but it is only rice and meat. I can feel the sticky rice and the chewy meat go down my throat and into my stomach. As I eat I can feel the rumble of the engine beneath me.
Now I make the 30 second walk back to school. After school I practice hand bells or recorders with my music teacher and my friends. Sometimes I just  go straight to my cabin to do my long boring homework. Sometimes I will hear the fire alarm go off when I go home. It isn’t a real fire it is only a drill says the captain over the ship wide page. So everyone goes onto the smelly muddy dock and waits for the fire drill to be over.
Occasionally when I go to dinner I smell something good like pizza or hamburgers but just an African meal is all I smell. After dinner I either swim in the pool or jut play on the deck. If I am swimming in the pool I ca hear the loud waves hit against the edges of the pool or feel the cool water splash all over me. If I’m just playing on the deck I feel the muggy air and see lots of little bugs flying around. Soon I go inside and go into my warm bed and wait for the next day to come. That is a day in my life.

MY TIME AT MERCY SHIP

       MY TIME AT MERCY SHIP

My time at mercy ship has been great I have been to so many places but I have never seen any thing like this. It is amazing how they can live off of so little and we live off of things we don’t need, the injures that they have is so sad I just want to give every thing that I have to them. And  if you go down the WARD A you will find a little girl that has burns all over her, and I never knew how lucky I was to have everything I have. My favorite thing I have done here so far is go to the Hope Center the hope center is filled with so much joy and laughter  I fell that the world has forgotten the joy. If you go to the Hope Center you will find 3 boys, 1 Osama, 2 Temba  , and 3 Omar. Osama has 1 leg, Temba has skin graph, Omar has a burn on his face. The crown bakery, Bema beach, and the craft market are all fun. 1 thing I don’t like here is the rain it is worse here than it is in WASHINGTON. And also you never know how lucky you are until you go to a place that has nothing and I think Africa is the apical forgotten poor.

                                                     THE END!

The house on maple street

One Monday morning evening on
Maple Street
when I was riding my new shiny
Bike, a short old house suddenly shot out huge round rocket boosters.
The whole street began to shake, and then I saw big black puffy smoke.
The smoke began to get bigger and bigger, I started to see fire so bright I had to
Wear sun glasses. Then the old house suddenly shot into the sky like a rocket.
Nobody knows what happened to the house and nobody really cares.

The house on maple street

One mysterious night. Maple Street started to shake. It started to smell like a BBQ.
Mr. Burdicks house had shot of like a rocket. Every one had come out to see.
They looked all over for him his family thought he was dead. And that is the story of Harris Burdick

the house

The house on Maple Street

The house on maple St. was kind of small; it had 5 windows and a door on the right. On the side were three windows, the top one at the front set an eerie glow. The house mysteriously lifted off completely silent, knocking a pine tree as it went. As it took off the fire and smoke from the rockets nearly blinded me!! The smoke smelled like BBQ, it was a pretty scary sight, it was like a ghost came to steer it away…when it left it was like nothing was there!

The House on Maple Street

The day the boy told me he was doing it tonight I said I would watch. So that night I walked across the pitch black street on to the gray colorless sidewalk and waited and waited and waited and waited. All of a sudden the house lifted off the ground like a balloon on a silent take off. I could feel the burning flames as the smoke twisted and curled across the ground like fog. When I looked up the house was a tiny dot floating around in the inky black starry sky. Then I saw a tiny figure waving at me, and in the next sudden moment he was gone, and the mysterious take off was over.

THE HOUSE ON MAPLE ST.

Suddenly it was gone. No one saw it happen except me and a small boy or girl who may have been in the window of the house who seemed to be steering it away. Without warning the house just lifted off. IT was a silent lift off, so quiet one could never tell, so hot you were sweating in a moment. It was very mysterious. Smoke everywhere!! Trees ripped from the ground. For a moment, the light was so blinding night seemed to turn to day, but only for a moment. The mysterious house just lifted off shaking and rattling as it went. Who was it, where did it go, and the biggest question is, WHY did it go. Nobody knew.

The House on Maple Street

The House lifted off delicately and mysteriously. It was a hot and loud take of with a boy possibly steering the house. It almost seemed scary with all the smoke and the house rocking so much that the boy was obviously frightened. The house was an extraordinary sight seeing it up and away in the snap of your fingers. It was as bright as the sun and I was blown by the wind. It was suddenly gone like a bird there and then gone.

about my life story

                              ABOUT   MY LIFE   STORY:
                                     By: GABI BLAIR

September 22, 2001 I was born in Chicago, Illinois. I   moved to Washington when I was about 3 or 4 years old. I go to school at Evergreen Christian School and I have been there for about 7 years now. I have an older sister named Madison but we call her Grace, my older sister Grace   was born in Tennessee before I was born. My dad is a surgeon in the army. He went to Afginistan for 14 months and Iraqi when I was about 3 or 4 years old. I accepted JESUS in my heart when I was 3. My great grandma died this year but she lived to be 95 years old. WOW! We had an Iraqi family live with us for about 2 or 3 months the only word I  learned in there language is la and that means no. I am very thank full for everything I have because I saw kids and adults eating out of the trash and I felt very bad. I have a mom named Taylor and a dad named Kelly I have a bird named Gerty my bird sleeps under my chin at night to get warmth and when she is in her cage she will slide on the bottom of the cage on her back, 2 dogs 1 named Lacy and the other named Lucy lacy likes to eat corn right from the ear of it and Lucy has a specialty for sleeping she is so huge that she could sleep for 2 days straight if she wanted to.  After we are done in Sierra Leon we are going to Rome and then after that we are going to London and then back home to Seattle Washington. When I was very young I lived in Mont pula, France. When I was 7 years old My family and I went on a cruse on our cruse we got to swim with stingrays and they were huge, and we the dolphins were so cut, and I got to hold turtles to, the dolphins and turtles were in the Bahamas. We also got to see monkeys and hold them and one of the monkeys stole my moms cold Diet Dr. Pepper and the monkey was sliming it on the tree to try and open it but it eventually gave up. And that’s the story of my life

Then we went to do gate way in Texas. While my parents were there doing work, my cousin watched me and my sister. After gateway we did field service in Benin. I think it was at least 2 or3 weeks. After a few weeks we finally got to go to the ship! But there wasn’t any room for us yet so we had to sleep in a building near the ship. In tree days school started!! We sailed a few times then the ship went in dry dock and ten we had to go to a place named Appels bosh. My auto biography

                             My Life

In 2000, December, 17, I was born. Three years later my sister Savannah was born. Around 2006 I broke my elbow the day before we were going on a mission’s trip with our church. The doctor said that I would have to have surgery, but God put the bone back in place and all I had to have was a splint for the next couple of weeks in Europe. About a year after that we moved to California because my dad got a job there. A year after that we took a trip to an orphanage in Mozambique, Africa. It was an amazing experience that I will never forget. A few months past and my dad lost his job and had to find a new one. After that we started looking into Mercy Ships. My mom and dad went to a class for two weeks, they came back but they were still waiting for a family cabin and a place for me and my sister in the school. And a few months after that we were accepted!! We sold almost all of our stuff and moved to Texas for gateway! And a month after that we went to Sierra Leone for field service. While we were there we built some of the hope centre and helped with some kids at another orphanage called Cheshire home. After three and a half weeks of hard work we got to see the Africa Mercy sail in to Sierra Leone. And now I am in fifth grade living in Sierra Leone on the Africa Mercy on the Continent of Africa.

                     MY LIFE

On July 10 I was born in New York. Then we went to London and   stayed
There until the ship was fully built. When we went to the ship I was so excited, when we got to the cabin I quickly ran inside and started jumping on the bed.  Then I started getting board, sometimes school was fun, I even made new friends called, Eli, Malachi, Deborah, Kylie, Nathaniel, and Rick. I also have a sister named Josie. I love living on the ship.

MY AUTO BIOGRAPHI

On September 9 I was born in England. I had 2 sisters called Iona and Rachel I learnt to walk. I then came to the Anastasis which is a hospital ship in Africa. I went there in 2004. I had my 3rd & 4th birthday there. It was lots of fun!! Then I moved to the Africa mercy in 2006. The Anastasis and the Africa Mercy docked at the same dock in Liberia. Then everyone on the Anastasis (including me) moved to the Africa Mercy. Soon my family and I went back to England for a holiday. I thought it was quite fun being back home for a bit! Then, when we came back to the ship, we became long termers. When I got into 4th grade I moved up a grade in math. It was a bit more challenging. While I was with the ship I had gone to 11 countries and the 6 African countries I went to were Ghana, Liberia, Togo, Benin, South Africa and Sierra Leone. And that is my life up to being 9.

My Life

On July, 04, 2001, I was born. Then I moved to Southsheilds in England from London. After that my brother, Andre, was born Then moved from London to Southsheilds in England because my dad came back to work with Mercy Ships. That was because the Africa Mercy was being made into a ferry to a hospital ship. During that time my brother, Andre, was born. After that we moved onto the Africa Mercy and sailed through the Bay of Biscay to meet up with the Anastasias in Liberia. Then after a few ports the ship made its way to Durban South Africa and everyone moved to Appelsbosch because the ship was in shipyard. We are currently in Serra Leone.

my weekend

This weekend I went to a hotel that had a pool when we got there I laid down while the koontz boys went swimming after a while something caught my eye they were over at the fountain so I went over there and there were three very cute turtles they picked them up. The big ones name was MR. Bob the medium one is MRS. Bob and the little baby was Bob. After I went swimming for 2 to 3 hours I laid down put my knees up and tucked my towel behind my head and made a little home. It kept the heat off me a lot.

On Sunday Anna came knocking on my door I was in my pj’s so I quickly changed and went out with her when we got to midships she said “where are we going” and I said how about kylies. So we went over and they were playing the wii game life and when we played fride had the best job then she had to change by the end I had twin boy and girl and I was a vet then fride had to change jobs and so did I so I got doctor, Deborah had a girl and was a computer designer, fride had one boy and was a doctor then changed to a entertainer and Anna had triplets 2 boys and 1 girl and she was a loyer. After that we went swimming so it was a pretty good weekend.

This week

I think I will go to the swimming pool this week. It will probably be really fun. I love the swimming pool very much. I want it to be warm on a cold day and cold on a hot day. That is usually the temperature I like the pool to be. That is what I will probally will do this weekend.

My Easter

This week has been great for me with lots fun stuff that has happened to like Physical Education when we went on the dock for the first time to do some fun things like lineball which is a small step towards volleyball but in lineball you can only catch the ball and pass it to another teammate.

We are also getting ready for Easter which will be very fun! We are also getting ready for a variety show which I am taking part in tomorrow and it should be fun to take part in. I will also be having a five day weekend. Well that is all for now!

NOW we have had Easter I can tell you about it. First we had a kids’ choir and I sang it. It was fun and I enjoyed it. Also in my Easter break I went to the teamhouse which is about an hour away from the ship.
I also did the easter egg hunt on Friday at three o’clock in the afternoon.

This is all I have for you for now. See you soon!

Easter Week

Easter week was great or no, excellent. My family hid Easter eggs for each other. It took longest to find the eggs I hid. We did that for a long time. Then I did the Easter egg hunt which was really easy. It was also easy for my brother to.
On Saturday we went to the chimpanzee sanctuary. It was the most fun when they threw rocks at us. We did a hike there and it was so hot. I was very itchy after that. I loved the ride there and the ride back and that was my Easter week.

                 Rick

My Easter vacation was amazing!

On Friday I went to the chimp sanctuary. It was amazing, because we got to see all different age chimps. We even got to see a mum chimp feeding its baby. The baby was three weeks old.
